Support: Introduction to the Video Safety System

Step 1: Log in to the System

1. Check your email for the login URL, username, and temporary password.
2. Open a new browser tab on your computer (use any browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox).
3. Go to: https://www.brickhousesecurity.com/login/gps.
4. Enter your username and the temporary password you received.
5. Click on the "Log In" button. If prompted, check the box to have the browser remember your login details.

Step 2: Change Your Password

1. The first time you log in, you’ll likely be prompted to change your password.
2. Enter your temporary password and then create a new password (enter it twice).
3. Click "Log In" again to apply the new password.

Step 3: Bookmark the Login Page

1. Once logged in, you should see a list of your vehicles and your username.
2. To easily access this page later, bookmark it:
   • In Chrome, click the star icon at the right end of the URL bar.
   • When asked where to save the bookmark, choose "Bookmark Bar" (or click Edit to select it).
   • Click Done.

Step 4: Access the Video Safety System (VSS)

1. In the top right corner, find the nine-square icon (app icon) next to your username.
2. Click the icon and then choose the BrickHouse VSS logo. This will open a new tab.
   • Alternatively, you can manually go to: vss1.brickhousesecurity.com.
3. Log in to the VSS system with your original username and password (not the new password you just created).
4. Bookmark the VSS page in the same way as in Step 3 (save it to the Bookmark Bar).

Step 5: Organize Your Bookmarks

1. You should now have two bookmarks: one for the main GPS system and one for the VSS.
2. To make them easier to access, rename the bookmarks:
   • Right-click on the GPS bookmark and select Edit. Change the name to "BSS" for BrickHouse Security System, then click Save.
   • Do the same for the VSS bookmark, renaming it to "VSS."

Step 6: Optional - Sync Your Passwords

1. If you'd like, you can change your VSS password to match the new password you created for the GPS system.
   • Click on your username in the top right and select Change Password.
   • Enter your old password, then your new password twice, and click Modify.
